Default Exhaust question

I put on a k&n intake and now I am putting on some duals. I have read numerous threads and videos and I think I have come to the conclusion of having the shop put on this:
True duals after cats with 2.5 diameter piping, flowmaster 40's and 3 inch chrome tips

Would you guys recommend the h pipe or just go out? Also this must be CA legal will this pass?

Sorry for all the questions I'm trying to learn

I would get an H pipe as it mellows out the sound. Less ricey. Also it should not mess with your emissions but CA is nuts so im not sure.

You need to run a catted x or h. 2.5" is a great size pipe no bigger then 3" from the header back (if you were ever thinking about how big to go). Flowmaster 40's will work you should pass (as long as you dont put lon tube headers on and if you put shorty's on they need a (c.a.r.b) number.
