Default plastic honeycomb piece behind the doors

Can anyone tell me what that black, plastic honeycomb-lookin thing is that is on both sides of the mustang, behind the doors is called? this is 99-04 model. Hope i described it well enough for ya'll to know what i'm talking about.. i'm sure you will. I've searched google and either cant get it to know what i'm talkin about or either it dont know either.. haha thanks!

yeah! i thought it was called side scoops but wasnt sure. i just got me another stang (yesterday) and its missing them pieces on both sides. other than that, the car looks pretty dang good. do you (or anyone else) know where i can buy these panels?

they are fake brake cooling ducts...

Yeah you should get them, it just looks better. And they're called side scoop "grille inserts", and you can usually find some on ebay. Or if you can't find any there, and don't want to wait for some to come up, you can get them at the dealership.Good luck!
