Default Looking to Get more Power out of my 2004 Mustang V6 3.8

OK guys first of all its a 04 3.8 v6 stang. Im just looking to get more power and to make it sound more mean. Thanks alot for all your guys help. I plan on getting flowmasters and a kna cold air intake so far. I dont know alot about cars but, im a fast learner. When i get my exauast done is it just the tubes or what lol, or is there more than just buying flowmasters and having the installed. If you guys can tell me a decent quality and a decent priced for all them i would appreciate it alot. Thanks alot

are you going dual?

i paid $510 for my whole package
2 mufflers w/ stainless tips. install and pluming.

for the V6 i hear an H or X pipe is good, but i cut my Y pipe and went straight back

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...o-finally.html

listen to that, let me kwno what you think on there

urs should sound close.

i belive H pipes make it sound deeper.

a good set of gears goes along way, while they dont add power, they get you in to the powerband quicker over other V6's, get a T lock

and a Tune, a tune will open her up throw in that CAI and your ready to roll.

if u want a se4t of chrome tips i got a set for sale takeing them to teh swap meet sunday

You may also want to look at an aluminum drive shaft to free up so rotational mass .

A GT take-off exhaust is pretty good. Cutting into the Y and making it an H like 05horse said is not a bad idea either (my sister did this).

How much $$$ are you wanting to spend? Or what kind of goals do you have?
