Default 2001 3.8 v6 mustang vs 2008 honda civic si

hey guys i was just wondering which car would be quicker in the 1/4 mile.

I have a automatic 2001 v6 mustang with k&n intake, flowmaster dual exhaust, diablosport tuner, and 3.73 gears

the civic is a 08 si with intake and skunk 2 exhaust

i was also looking to add some more parts but im a little short on cash right now so what do you guys think my next mods should be? i was thinking maybe some headers

Si's runs low 15's. With all your mods I would say it would be a drivers race.

what would help the most with your car is a stall and a tranny cooler. It may be a drivers race if he just dumps the clutch. Which will cause him to spin.

I'm going to have to say the Si has the advantage. Those cars can do 14's easy wit ha good driver and a couple bolt-ons.

Your auto stang might be lucky to get out of the 16's. Especially if you have a stock auto, then I don't think you will hang.

You can practice your launching and hope you get far enough ahead, but if its even a half-way decent driver in the Si, I think he'll take you.

If the Civic is an automatic as well you should take him. No amount of vtec in the world can help a 4 banger get off the line behind an automatic.

^The Si does not come in automatic... They are manual only since they are the sport model. Why give advice if you don't know what you are talking about??

I think that it will be a driver's race. The big advantage you have are the gears. Do you have a t-lok too? If not why did you do gears only? The cheapest thing to do would be an aluminum drive shaft to get the revs up quicker. If he were to tune his car with his mods I think he would have you.
