I have no idea, I want to say they came with goodyears, but the exact model I'm not sure. Why do you want to know the weight and original tires anyways?

if your trying to mix looks with lightweight, i suggest finding a set of 96-04 GT wheels, they're 17" and can fit a decently wide tire. theyre an oem wheel so they should be pretty light...see if anybody knows what they weigh.
also, if you choose to go with the stock wheels, you dont need to use the exact brand/model of tire, they all weigh about the same.

I'm not trying to put oem wheels I just want to know from where I have to start i want aftermarket ones but not the sames as a lot of people are putting like saleen, cobras etc.
The lightest rims that I know of for our Mustangs that are within most people price range are the 99-00 GT five star rims. They are lighter than any of the other 17's and they are an 8" rim so they can fit a nice size tire on it as well. The Bullitt's are decently heavy and the Cobra's/Saleen's are really heavy. You are going to have to pay quite a bit to get a lightweight performance rim. The Steeda Ultralites are extremely light for their size but they are also expensive too.

i already tried barking up that tree... he says he doesnt want oem wheels even though he wants to know what the oem tires/wheels are... idk...
i agree with you, the 99-00 GT wheels look good and would be a great choice.
either way, he's going to wag his finger at you....
Just the rim right? not the tire? i found a light one but thats for the track its called star something but i want one for looks and aluminum 19s.
No, that is with the tire....... The lightest would be jegstars or summit racing generics. They are about 89.00 for fronts, and 119.00 for rears. But remember, the fronts are not handling rims. They are strictly for straight line racing because they flex in corners.......
