Default Longtubes with or without stock cats?

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should keep a pair of my old cats after I install my longtubes(don't have the money for high flows), or if I should go o/r with it. Just wanting some oppinions. Will having the cats on make it less or more raspy than with them o/r? I've looked at video and sound clips, but it's hard to get a good bead on the sound difference over the internet. Thanx yall.

o/r will make it much louder. and give it a smell. as far as raspy thats more of a x-pipe/ h-pipe thing. if you do go o/r get a set of mufflers to quite it down alittle.

I'm already running true duals with flow 40's. I'm thinkin I'm just goin to leave the stock cats on there. I'll replace them with high flows when I get a chance.
