Default How do you guys burn out?

I've seen many different ways, but I was wondering how everyone here did it. I usually put my left foot on the clutch, put my toes on the brake and my heel on the accelerator and then slip off the clutch and put my left on the brake and right on the accelerator. How bout you guys?

I start in second, rev a few times and dump the clutch. Once they start to burn I can regulate the rpm's to keep it under red line.

just dont try and use the brakes on them when u do... i drove one ( along with a lav and a 12 ton )

the brakes on that humvee rock!

* i was in a ware house, punched the gas when i got to the forklift i hit the brakes.... way to stop in a hurry!*

well if i intend on going, i go up to 3500 let out clutch then as i start to move i give it some regulation.

if i want smoke...second gear 4 foot on gas, dump clutch and lay on brake but not to hard.

you can get a line lock that allows you to turn off back brakes.

pop clutch and mash the brakes and your off to the races.

becareful youll get addicted and go through tires before you know it....

ive always wondered if you could do a burn out in a automatic all the way in to 3rd gear, and hit cruise contoll once the speedo read over 35 mph.

i assume you're talking about the waterbox........

well i usually put it in 1st, rev to around 1,500rpm's, slide off the clutch slowly , quickly redline 1st gear ( open diff. the cars barely moving forward at this point) quick shift into 2nd ( careful, the car will slide sideways a little bit even with the open diff, nothing crazy tho) then i just throttle forward in 2nd until i get close to the staging area and i just let it roll out.
completely unnecessary, but a lot of fun !
not to mention a whole lot of smoke

I just stomp on it in the power band anywhere between first and second. Leaves plenty of rubber

Cruise control won't set if you are on the breaks.

Automatic's have it easy. Brake+Gas=Burning Rubber
On a Stick i get up to about 5000 rpm drop the clutch and smash the gas. (dont forget to turn your traction controller off ) After a good while you would have to shift into second so you dont blow anything but its always fun.

Well if I'm in my 99 which has a stick I hit the gas let off the clutch and put my foot on the brake and just keep putting more pressure on the brake if it starts to go forward and sit there and let the tires smoke. But if I'm in one of my automatics I just put my foot on the brake and hit the gas.
