Default I need my 2003 Mustang V6 louder

hey i got a V6 2003 mustang with a true dual exhaust, a cold air intake and after market mufflers(although not flowmaster or anything good). Im trying to make a little more sound out of my car to give it a more agressive feel but im not sure of any other way to go about doing it. at full throttle in mid gear it sounds ok but in idle i can barely tell the car is on sometimes. ive heard of stripping my CATs or getting new after market 1s but im not sure if any of that will make much of a difference. does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do?

take the cats off completely, get headers, and some smaller 2 chamber mufflers

I think you need some flow master and a h pipe or x pipe and headers.

remember that most thing sound good when the car its at idle but when you rev it most sound rice i finally found a way to get rid of that.
you need an x pipe and i think also flowmasters.
check them out on youtube when you have a chance.

X pipe = raspy
H pipe = no so raspy

The way to eliminate rasp like 97% is a mac prochamber I had one with no cats. SO mac prochamber and cats would prob remove 99.9%

that video clip ss put up sounds perfect. i wish mine sounded anywhere near that. i think im gunna try removing the cats first and then try and buy the H pipe after.
on that car all u have done for that sound is just no cats and the H right? or does that also have headers too

That was:
  • Mac Long Tubes
  • 2.5" exhaust pipe no mid pipe
  • flow master original 40 series mufflers
  • Custom Ground Camshaft
