Default 1997 Mustang V6, Supercharger Help?

I bought a Supercharger (eaton M90 supercharger w/ intercooler), came off a thunderbird sc. I was wondering if it was possible to put it in my 1997 Mustang V6 stock and what else would i need to put it in.

All you have is the supercharger and intercooler? Nothing else? There are lists on the internet that tell you everything you will need for the install. I will hunt around a bit later and try to find it and post it for you. It is quite a list. It is usually a lot easier for people to just swap the engines. Swapping a built engine is much easier than basically rebuilding the top end of your engine.

^What needs rebuilt for the bottom end? I thought they had the same internals? Different crank? Or are you talking about forged internals or just rebuilding the bottom end since the engine will be apart? I did not think that the sc engine had forged internals but I could be wrong. lol

Roots blower how to - V6Power Messageboard That thread has the complete list of everything needed as well as a detailed discussion of what was involved. As you can see it is by far easier to just swap the engines out and do the smaller customizing.

Yeah I know they are harder on the internals. I just didn't know if they supercoupe engine had different internals or anything though. Not to mention that that supercharger can get quite hot underneath the hood... lol
