what do you guys think about using RIT dye to black out my seats in a 2002. My seats are currently dark gray(charcoal) with light gray that runs thru the middle and up the backrest. I just want the dark gray to be black. I am ging to somehow just swab the black onto the parts that i want and let it sit. I am worried about the Duplicolor Fabric paint cause I know paints make cloth more coarse and hard.

Yes, RIT works well. We also used the spray on fabric dye, but get it from a good source. An auto paint store should have it, but you would need a spray gun.....

that sounds good i was going to say duplicolor spray but i didnt kno it made the fabric course

Rattlecan dye will do that......
