Same thing happend to me. I thought I was try to hook up the phone wrong and it wasnt reading it. Turn outlike you I didnt even have the option. You can get the part from the dealer and as explained to me you remove the stereo and it attaches to the back of it. At least that is what the parts guy said. I cant remember the price off hand but it was enough for me to say forget it.

My dealer said it was 599.00 PLUS installation. I find it quite rediculous to install an incomplete item and then nickel n dime the customer, anyways off my soapbox now, this is along the lines of my question. rather than spend another 600 + for the bluetooth, I have been searching and been finding that I can install an aftermarket audio system with DVD, bluetooth, with satellite radio for about the same price 600.00 My question to who would like to answer, is I want the bluetooth (because of the law) but is there an aftermarket system with the bluetooth that is a double DIN that is around 2 - 3 hundred that sounds great and if there is specific brand that seems to sound better?
