Default Turbo Mustang Thoughts

I plan on pulling a turbo out of a old f-350 or any truck/car along with intercooler. I was wondering what all would I need I'm thinking I will just run about 4 pounds of boost because I have herd if you run more than that the stock fuel injectors and maf will max out. also running that low boost will I need to tune. Btw I have herd you can turn the headers around and make the turbo piping is this true. Please and thank you for you help I plan on pulling all of the parts out of a junk yard around here in Florida for 50$ special.

If it was that easy, everyone would do it. You would still have the small primaries of the stock headers which will give you back pressure. You could still do it, but it will be more aggravation than it is worth. you still need a wastegate, BOV, and all the rest of the piping. Not to mention punching a hole in your oilpan for the return line.

I have a good friend selling a TMA race kit with a 65mm Garrett for $2500.00. That is the way to go.......

I would love to but Im on a 50$ budget from my job and parents so Im spending the day at the junk yard and pulling every thing I need even pipe.Btw Im a student right now so that restricts my budget even further wish I had 2500 bucks. how much power gains would I see at 4lbs of boost do you know?

^Who is doing the work? You are probably not going to see any gains...

A friend and I did this once, it was to a 240sx. It took us a long time to do, weeks, and a lot more money than he was anticipating. It was fun and sort of worthwhile after it was done but not something that I would ever do again. Just save up and buy a real kit, it will be less hassle-some and worth it in the end.

Are you stock right now?

You would probably need to build your rear end too.
