I am looking to apply tint to my tail lights to make them darker but not too dark but im not sure what film to use. I have heard that walmart tint is not good and tends to turn purple...so what is good and how much will it cost me. I dont want to use a paint because i would like to be able to remove it if i got pulled over for it. Thank you.

I bought mine from our sponsor, stangmods.com. They are cut to exactly fit your car, no extra junk for you to do but apply it and smooth it out... with that said, it applied awesome and has been over exactly a year now with no problems... I have the blue and it's not too dark... plus, Matt's customer service is awesome!

Ebay has multiple different tint films. Look there for cheap too.

I second the Stangmods.com tint. I have the smoked for my headlights and they look mean. I did something different with my taillights, went with the honeycomb tint. That looked sweet on the new edge tail lights. I'd get the smoke, its a little darker than I originally wanted but it is by no means dark enough to affect the light output severly. Great product definitely recommended. Happy shopping
