getting off work last night i found my hood keyed, i am not happy about it.
Anyone think i can get away with a high quality filling/touchup kit on the shallower areas and maybe put a "4.0" badge over the gash? Im not the wealthiest and am saving for an exhaust system this summer. EDIT: oh and eventually down the road, a new hood too is planned.

looks like youll need more than touch up paint...

but try it
put a layer on...
keep layering layering itl take a week or so layer dry layer dry...to build it up then buff it out

That sucks! I hope Ford did a better job prepping the hoods of the newer models since a small stone chip has lead to the paint peeling off my hood in hand sized chunks. I would seal those scratches ASAP with something to prevent that from happening to your car.

Never ceases to amaze me as to what jealous people will do to other people's property just because they can't have one.....
