Hello I have a 2006 v6 mustang and was wondering what kind of ugrade (supercharger, turbo, etc.) is reasonably cost effective but also gives you around 100 HP?

Welcome to AFM, a supercharger and longtube headers, exhaust and a tune will put you there easily..

Sell the V6 and buy V8 car, you'll spend less than highly modifying your car..Figure at least $6K+ for a blower, $1200 for full exhaust and you are getting the picture...easiest, most cost effective way for a V6 to gain 100hp is a 100 shot of nitrous..there's an old saying in racing "speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?"

^It is not going to cost him 7500 to get 100hp... You have been telling people with V6's that it is not worth it to mod them in any way... Do you realize that a 4.0L with simple bolt-ons keeps up with PI GT's? V8's are not the end all like I said in another thread. Especially when you are talking about the 2v 4.6L...

^I would rather have the V6... They are much lighter and can make just as much power as the V8. But I like handling much more than straight line power anyway.
