Question V6 Supercharger

If I was to get a supercharger for my v6 mustang automatic and had about 300 HP would I need a heavier rear end?

Well,
All you would really need for 300rwhp is a true trac in your rear end...

actually, the 7.5 rear end in the 05+ mustangs can easily handle 300 to the ground. i would say anything more than 450, get the 8.8, otherwise, its not necesarrily needed

^Either way the rear end is still going to need to be upgraded. Traction would not exist with 300 rwhp in an open differential...

The people that post here are INFINITELY more knowledgable than I, (that's I love this forum) but what I can pick up from lurking about is what you've heard..
Your Stock rear end, though not ideal, would probably hold up.

but traction is essential.

I have a 7.5 Rearend and am pushing over 300HP...you should be find just watch it over 450hp is risky for the rear.

A properly built rear end will net you 350hp. I've done it, and so have several others......

lol it will hold, only because you wont have enough traction to break anything.
