Hey everyone,
i just had a question and want your opinion.

im looking for a new bumper cause i got in an accident in mine
i can get a cobra R bumper for $100 but idk if that would go with my car. i have a regular 2000 black mustang.

and if i get a regular one, it comes in like a flat black color
is there anyway i can get it to shine like the rest of my car if i try and do it myself? is there any prep work?

The bumper should bolt or actually screw right back on. As for paint I think youll need to have a shop paint it. Black is an easy color to match so get to know a good shop and the next time the spray a black car ask if they will paint your bumper with the extra paint left over.

go with the cobra bumper, it will look good and $100 is a pretty good deal for a cobra bumper

The shop will look on your door and get that number/letters to use the correct black pay to have it done cuz that bumper is really cheap I've seen that bumper on ebay for more than $250 every day....

If you like the look, go for it. Can't beat the price. It sounds like the bumper is just not painted.
