Default More Hp & Torque

Hey I want to find out everything I can do to add in more horsepower and torque into my 04 V6 Mustang. I've already added in a new intake, headers, and dual pipe exhaust system. So anything else besides nitrous would be nice. I know nitrous is going to completely ruin my engine so I don't need nothing like that. Also I get alot of people saying to just save my money and get a better car or switch out the engines to a V8. I don't want to hear any of that please I just want to know how to make MY V6 engine better.

Well if its and auto go with 4.10 gears and a t-lock. Manual get 3.73 and t-lock won't give you any hp but will help you accelerate quicker

Like 016er said, get a posi rear end, 4.10 gears, and from there you can do heads, cam, intake, supercharger, 4.2 stroker, the possibilities are really endless just depends on how deep your pockets are.

I would suggest doing some research because there's a lot of stuff you can do to make your car faster.

The gears and tlock are great I enjoy mine all the time got them with the bearing kit for about 400 and install 200 just be warned you will lose about 1-2 mpg on the highway.

They are alright, I prefer a set of 3.73's myself.

Their is no 3.55 gear for the 7.5" rear that I am aware of. Unless you are going to swap for an 8.8" rear you will not be using 3.55's.

Muzztang, it would probably be easier for you to do a search and find what you have questions on and then come back and ask us those questions. People come in here all the time and ask how to make their V6 fast so you should not have any trouble finding info to ask questions on.

So if you want deep rumble I suggest trying to look for an h pipe... also how much hp would you like to go??? If you plan to go high, a supercharger or turbo will be the best buck/hp and will really wake up your car...

I didn't think you could add a supercharger to a V6 without damaging the engine?

Also an h pipwould be better than an X pipe?

Yes you can add a supercharger
also about the midpipes I usually prefer the x pipe
h pipe gives you deep ruble and more tq, x pipe raspy sound with more hp but the number isnt noticeable..

X or H pipes do not add torque. We have even firing motors, so it does not come into play.....
