and i am very distraught. this car and my audi. were terds. any and for the 240 melting or what ever in third. ya thats deff true. so lets do a little review. since you guys know about imports and i and my friend actually have them. he has a nx2000 with a red top 240sx turbo'd motor and trans. i've seen it on the track he boosted 28psi and did a quarter in high 10's. basicaly he has a 2600lbs car with 395whp. he ran it 3 times and drove it home with 28psi. we checked everything in it and NOTHING. broke, wore, or anything. so why wouldnt my 240sx, which has the same motor as that. not run 28psi?
The V6 Mustangs use the T5-OD. All 5.0L V8 Mustangs use the T5-OD, all 4.6L GT's up to about mid 2001 use T45's, then they switched to the T3650.

So because your buddies car made 3 passes and drove home, then its bulletproof? The car will never ever wear out or break anything? Are you serious dude? You throw a bunch of boost at something, of course it will make power, doesn't mean it will last forever.

Racing is about breaking stuff, if you don't break anything, you aren't trying hard enough. I've ran my fox at the track for over 2 years and have smoked a couple clutches and broke a tranny, big deal. Raced and drove home many many times, usually running at least 5 times a night.

As far as us ragg'n on your Nissan that makes 370 ft/lbs. and gets 400 miles on a tank of gas, which I haven't seen yet, it all started with you and your better idea of selling the Mustang and running " 25 psi on a stock 240" and "Mustangs are a joke" about american muscle being a myth 10 years from now, lol right... What did you expect coming onto a Mustang board spewing your mouth?

haha. wow i need to make up my mind. i just destroyed 2 gtp's 1 celica gt-s and a an camaro ss. i made 200 bucks dood! this mustang is sick as ****.

my friend bought that 240 from me and he's been runnin 18-25psi for the past week now. just as a daily driver and weekend car. it runs fine. and i know the motor is stock.

hey would a 75mm garrett turbo fit behind the radiator of my stang if i put both exhausts to it and put the intercooler where my cai is?

and does that helix throttle body spacer really work? 12hp just from a piece of aluminum sounds kinds shifty...

The intercooler needs to go in front of the radiator. As far as room, I have an 80mm between my motor and radiator, but my radiator is a different size(smaller)......

My son has a stock radiator with a 61mm turbo and it's really close.

lay off dood. idk what yer problem is but obviously you like to bomb on people because they have somewhat of a fast car. sorry our lives and cash dont revolve around the track. i thought this was a forum site for q's and a's. your probably like in your mid 30's or something. great you have a car with 600+hp. way to go for having a steady job and a huge paycheck every week. i'm 17 and still in high school. so if you want to mock us for having 13-12 seconds car then i hope you feel good about it.

Hey, Shiner wasn't being sarcastic. He really did mean congrats to that guy. Its an accomplishment to make a v6 run 13s, especially NA. There is no way you beat a camaro SS unless it wasn't firing on all cyclinders. An automatic SS will still beat your 3.8 manual mercilessly unless you are heavily modified. You can't pull BS on this site... it just won't fly

the ss has 74,000 miles on it. it runs fine. and i cant tell sarcastic remarks from real ones when someone puts 5 dots behind their statement.....

and considering i raced the car, there was over 50 people there, and i have that 200 dollars in my wallet right now. i'd say unless YOU were there, you shouldn't be so sure to say i'm BS'ing on this site. want details?

we started at a stand still and raced a quarter on the highway where we marked off. i pulled away in 3rd dramatically. after we finished he said he was around 110, i crossed the line around 113-115mph.

which if you look online the "ss" ran low 13's. my best time on the track was like 13.08 (btw my car is na too. but not for long =D)

idk if he just gave up after i got to the line or what but he was way behind.

Just out of curiousity, how were over 50 people present to watch you race down a highway?
