Hi everyone
my name is Brian and i just became a member to AFM i currently have a 2003 V-6 mustang and i am about to buy a 2007 4.6L mustang engine to put in place of my v-6 engine i have a couple of questions... one is that will this fit in my car it already has the wiring harness and rear end but where i come into a problem at is which 5 speed transmission do i need and can i get a 99-04 5 speed transmission out of a GT or does it have to be 05 and up tranny if you can help me asap i would greatly appreciate it

Man that's a lot of work are you serious you want to do it... Do you want to do it just to keep it as a sleeper.. like many people have said it will be better to sell your car and buy another one that you like.. oh and welcome to AFM hope you like it...

Do you already have the harness? I do not understand that part of your post? Yes, use the tranny with the engine. Ford upgrades the tranny to a better stronger unit on the 05+. If you are going to do the swap yourself and have the knowledge of how to do it then I would otherwise I would not. It is going to be a big headache and cost some money. You said you already have a stronger rear end?
