If you don't care about spending more than 5k just on the 4.l engine these are a couple of things you will need.
transmission
computer
wire harness
rear end
For 1,000hp turbo/super charger
cold air intake
throttle body/plenum
gears
long tube headers
exhaust
tuner
short shifter
cam(s)
etc....
That's why I said turbo/supercharger then all that... It will be ridiculous to have a bigger turbo/supercharger without bolt-ons..
When building a car with over 600HP there is no such thing as using a regular bolt on. Once you hit a certain level (just ask Shinerstang) you will have to begin either creating your own parts or you will be buying very expensive parts that are almost never used on a regular build. If you want 300HP then you can use cheap store bought bolt on accessories. 1000HP will require extensive hand crafted one off parts.
Put a list buddy don't just say that is not possible with bolt-ons, common I want to learn..... I know that he will need to get a short block or long one... and a higher stage clutch....

by the time someone makes 1,000hp theyve usually switched to a heavy-duty automatic, like a 2speed powerglide, etc...
and no handheld tuner is going to correctly tune an engine that heavily modified.
bolt-ons are completely useless on an engine like that.
to make that much power on a 4.6L, your going to need a fully forged rotating assembly, and a whole lot of boost/nitrous. or both. try to find a teksid block if you want to use a 4.6L engine.
teksid blocks come in 96-98 cobras, and 93-98 Mark VIII
that seems like alot of work to me. good luck with the build and i agree no bolt ons will do this it will be alot of custome work running alot of boost

Yeah ill put pics up as soon a i figure it out lol...and yes i can get 1000 hp out of a 4 valve with just bolt ons and a tune but im not going that route....its pretty much going to be the 03 cobra engine...but it is not going to be the romeo block style...and i am starting from scratch...im going to start with all eagle forged internals...4 valve of course with some secrets to that :P...of course supercharger (3.4 whipple) with some more secrets ....my tuning is either going to be done with sct or sniper tuning equipment...then the exhaust is going to consit of hooker long tube headers...slp x pipe and exhaust...and more stuff to come depending if i want to give anything else away :P but ill keep yall updated, and never will use nitrous cuz BOTTLES ARE FOR BABIES!

people saying they can make a 1,000hp 4.6L with bolt-ons and a sct flash tuner.... come on... a bolt-on & tuned 4.6L can maybe get 300hp to the crank, thats it. i dont see how your going to magically create another 700hp.
also you mentioned using a romeo block, i believe the 03-04 cobra's use WAP blocks, but i could be wrong, so someone correct me if i am.
