Default 96 v6 Gt clone project

ok guys. I need a little help. I am currently turning my 96 v6 into a gt clone. It currently has dual side exit exhaust. What i am needing as of this moment is both stock gt tail pipes. all i need is the section that goes from the exit of the mufflers, up over the rear axel, around the fuel tank, and out the rear. i dont want to buy new ones at all. i am trying to find out if anyone has a set(both sides) of gt tail pipes i can buy from them, i would appreciate it. i live in plano, tx. (dallas area) i can give 20 per tail pipes if anyone around me has them.

thanks guys.

im not sure what your asking... are you wanting to have dual side-exits, AND dual rear tailpipes?

Just buy a flowmaster exhaust or somet kit with dual pipes out the rear. Its really not hard to clone a GT of that year all you need is 2 tail pipes and fog lights.

Just don't put GT badges on your car.

ok i see what your doing now...lol personally i loathe the idea of a GT clone, but thats besides the point...
for a complete clone you'll need a new rear bumper as well, the GT's have the text MUSTANG GT written on the back. of course you'd also need badges (which i do not suggest) and GT wheels. along with the dual exhaust and foglamps, as previously mentioned.

if your just looking for take-off exhaust, try looking online, im sure you'll find GT owners that are selling them.

in response to both of yall; thanks for posting. what i ment is this: right now i have a dual side exit exhaust set up because i am running straight pipes until i can get flow-40s. what i meant by making a GT clone is just that it will look exactly like a GT. i WILL NOT put any badges on it, nor will I have a rear bumper that says GT anywhere on it. I am going to get the gt bumper and fill in the writing completely then re-paint it. It wont even say MUSTANG anywhere on it, but will look like a gt with a 1.5 inch body drop, gt wheels(blacked out), fog lights, and will eventually have the motor re-built and set up for high performance. I have tried browsing for the 2 tail pipes, and am not getting very good results. if you dont understand what i am wanting to do, pm me and i will explain it a little better.

that sounds like an interesting project.
try ebay, or craigslist...also if you know anybody with a sn95 GT that has an aftermarket catback, see if they still have their factory setup.
heres a link to a website that sells mustang rear bumpers without the text MUSTANG embossed into it.

lol 232. i was thinking of selling my sixer and getting a gt. then i read your posts in the conversion topic. i, as well as many others, have fallen in love with my sixer. i could have gotten a gt, but i chose the sixer for insurance and gas. i just couldnt bring myself to sell my stang. tried to, but cant. its to hard to let her go. still trying for the tail pipes lol......not to mention the fact that my sixer's idle sounds nasty sick. it has the low gurgle that i wanted.
