Question 1994 Mustangs 3.8 into a 1996 Mustang?

Does anyone know if you can put a 3.8 from a 1994 into a 1996?? I am having troubles. motor mounts do not line up with the K member

are you trying to use the motor mounts from the 96 or the 94?
i believe they are different and sit an inch or so too far forward.

The first attempt was with 1994 mounts, I then bought 1996 mounts which will not bolt to the block. I am now looking for the bracket that the mount bolts to. Not having any luck up to this point

it is a different style of mounts and stuff from the 94 and 96 but i dont see why it wouldnt work... is it from a 96 gt or base model cuz that could be the problem too
