I got my car back in September, my first real car and of course I had to have it manual. I'm not bragging but I picked it up easily and I consider myself to be a good driver naturally, plus I love driving, I think of it as an art haha. So what I'm saying is what I would really like is for someone to make a check list of all the different techniques and tricks that you can do in a stick with a brief description, so that I can kind of go down the list and reach master status haha. for example stuff like power shifting, heel and toe, etc. I'm a safe driver and I'm not interested in street racing so don't worry about that. It would be really cool if you put it in order by difficulty or something too.
Powershifting is easy to explain, when you shift, just use the clutch but keep the gas down. Some guys lift up slightly on the gas, but I keep it smashed. Just be really quick about it, and it helps to have a good rev limiter for back up if you miss a shift.
BTW, this shifting method will most likely make the clutch wear out twice as fast as well as make the lifespan of your tranny shorter.

Look up one of the "Advanced driving schools" and get a list of what they teach you. Most of those things require the use of a clutch, I wouldn't advice trying any of them without being in a safe environment though. Exhibition driving is illegal in all 50 states I think
EDIT: And oh I think that a chirping transmission is one of three things. One, It's a messed up transmission, two it's not actually the tranny chirping but the tires spinning a bit under acceleration when you powershift at a highers speed, or 3 the "Chirp" is the whistle that comes from a turbo blow off valve.

hell no. i've done this, going over humped railway tracks which probably isn't that safe. if anything it just made me feel like a tool. and made me feel like I was being hard on the car for just a little boost. if you got the money, go for it. if you like to look after your **** and take pride in your ride lol, don't bother. i'm aware the guy wants to know some tricks which is cool, just my 2 cents!
I think the mustang is a great car, not high high end or nothing, but anyway I feel best inside, and much more manly taking care of my care. even though I have gotten into drifting lately and totally ****** it up the other week. word!
I'm broke, but yeah I still beat the crap out of it.
Thats what my fox is for, beating it up on the drag strip, then pampering it after its done its duty.
If it wasn't for me, my fox would still be a 4 banger auto car that was a commuter through LA traffic.... I think its much happier as a 5.0 strip car that sleeps in the garage.
