Default scratch removal

Hey guys my car has a decent amount of scratches on it due to the fact that it is used and the fact that cats live around my house. So im asking what is the best way to remove scratches out of my car? I want to hear what you guys use to get the scratches out of your stangs.

I have a body shop just down the street from our shop and I take it to them. Their detail guy will sand the scratched area with 2000 grit sand paper and then buff the area. There are a couple that they wouldn't do because they thought they went a bit deep so they touched up the paint and then buffed it out. As I help them out with electronics issues they don't charge me. I would guess this would run 200 to 300. I think I would pay this once a year or so to keep it looking good.

I swear by this stuff for light scratches and swirls. I had some Crows walking on my Daily driver and this stuff worked great.

If you get serious about it, buy a Porter Cable Dual Action polisher/sander. I have one and it is a must have for serious detailing and scratch removal. Having a machine do the work saves your arm from aching!
