Hey guys, i got a 3.9L, 2004, automatic mustang. So far this wednesday ive got h piped flowmasters and 4 falken tires being put on. Im just curious on what you guys think i should do next. My paint color is very rare so its kinda hard to get pieces even though i am looking for dual cutout bumber, wing, and a hood scoop. Im also looking into getting a tloc and 3.73 gears along with a mac cai and a tuner. What all would u guys recommend. Thanks alot. Ill post some pics of my stang tommorow. Thats a pic of it in the top left.

some udp's will free up a couple hp, the cai and tuner is a great start.

it looks like you have the 04V6/99-01cobra hood; how are you getting a scoop for it?

I wanna get a scoop and a spoiler just not sure on where to get them. Also crimson red with a silver flake is expensive.

er.. scoop wont fit on your hood i have the same hood.. itll be a little wierd with a scoop and the vent all at the same time if you can even manage to make it go on there.. unless youre talking about a full on new hood

You can get those pieces on ebay, american muscle, craiglist etc.....

wings are for ricers, but you saved your self a few posts later.

imo udps are a waste of money thats money better spent somewhere else, like intake headers ect ect.

i think they cost to much for what they do.

ok well i was looking at a cai and wats the difference between that and what i got now. I mean right now i got a k and n filter. So whats really the difference

throttle response and maybe 1-2 hp. Not much bang for the buck.
The gears and T-lok will probably give you the most acceleration and you should get the tuner to reprogram your speedo.

are you talking about a factory style wing & hood scoop?

if so, try www.latemodelrestoration.com
however, to put on a hood scoop you'll have to get a hood from a 99-03 V6/GT.
there arent any hoodscoops for your style hood that i know of.

actually...if you think about it;

a $4,000 procharger kit would add around 100 hp,
and $200 udp's would add 3-4hp.

$4,000 divided by 100 is $40/hp
$200 divided by 4 is $50/hp

the price per hp is pretty close; its a decent mod imho.
