Last night i went to the track to try out my new SCT X3 tuner. When i got the timeslip after my first run it read 15.65! Current mods are U/D Pulley, BBK CAI and 65 mm TB, Pypes Violators dual exhaust with stock cats and an h-pipe, upper intake spacer, j-mod, SCT X3 tuner, and 17x9 wheels. Last year i ran a 16.26 in similar conditions (low 60's and around 50% humidity) with everything but the tuner. With the 93 octane performance tune from VMP, I ran 6 tenths faster. I think i could have ran faster but i kept losing traction at the line. I just wanted to see how much the tune would get me before i put in the t-lok and gears. In a few weeks i will get my t-lok and 3.73 gears put in and i will post what gains i recieved from that. I'm shooting for 14's, think its possible?

I think that those rims may hold you back from the 14's. They are heavy rims. Do you still have your stock rims? They would probably let you get there.
Nice job on the times though. That is pretty respectable.
Yeah great job after the gears and t-lok i'm pretty confident that you'll get close to your goal

Go: Steeda Tri-Ax Short Shifter, 3.73's and FRPP traction lock, BBK CAI, Dual Flowmaster Super 44's with H-pipe and chrome 3" angle cut tips
Since its an automatic, would 4.10s be better suited for it?
Like other have said, going back to your stock rims should help you out a bit. You may wanna look into 4.10's for your car instead of 3.73's for you automatic .

14's are very possible with your car. I think it would be wise to get some stickier tires for the back. If you drop your 60fts, it will be cake to hit 14's......
For an auto, 4.10s would be better if i just drove in the city, but i have a girlfriend who lives out in the country and i will be traveling for college next year, so for my situation, 3.73s were the best choice. I had a ton of trouble with getting traction. I hope that the t-lock will do me good in that department. Yes, I still have my stock rims, but they have snow tires... so dry traction is out the window with those. I am kind of looking for new lighter rims, but i just don't have the cash to do it haha. Thanks for the replies. I made this post in order to put some tuner stats out there, that way when someone searches for how much a tuner will improve their six, maybe this will pop up.

How many sets would you like? I have at least 2 full sets of rims. Not sure how far away from me you are, but a trip to our shop is well worth it.......
I live in Ohio, about an hour north of columbus. I'd love to come and visit your shop haha. If i did come and visit, i'd be bringing the gears and t-lock too for an install perhaps? Haha ill PM you.
