My dad has always been a FORD man. Just following tradition here.
My dad has always been a Chevy man. He had both a '67 Camaro and a '70 Chevelle SS 454 when I was like 8 or 9. One of them was going to be mine. But... he sold them both.
I got my Mustang to piss him off and my mom has always had Fords. She showed me pictures of her '66 Mustang. I figure what the hell. Never looked back.

I was going to take my wife's explorer after I got rid of my truck and then get her a car. She made the statement "I really like my Explorer, what do you think of that mustang?" I didn't wait for any another word and signed the dotted line. Never thought I could ride that Explorer or any car after driving a truck for 4 years. I have never looked back and enjoy the mustang. Looking to mod it out now.

ive always loved mustangs.. this is just my little piece of that old fashion american muscle that my dad and grandfather grew up around and i wouldnt trade it for anything.. except maybe a gt of the same year, color, and hood style lol
Had an 01 Electric Green GT that I had to sell when we had kids. Now that the kids are 6&7 it was time to have something fun again. This time we did it right and got a convertible, although the V6 was a more logical choice as well since my wife mostly drives it.
Coming from the UK, there were no such things as muscle cars. Upon my arrival on US soil, I instantly fell in love with the old 66-69 Mustangs but never had the courage to buy a fixer upper. so when the 05+ came out, I was determined to get one. How can someone not love such an iconic car?
Well what drew me to this car was the fact that all I'd been driving before was junk. I had a 1996 Chevy Lumina...... I got this car because I've heard so much about how zippy Mustangs are and they're performance cars.....just day I got stomped by a 4-cylinder Toyota, AND a friends 2003 Dodge pickup with a 4.7 V8. I'm dissapointed, I'd never driven my car that harsh before, and it let me down big time!!! I thought, THOUGHT this was supposed to be a "fast" performance car. Guess only thing fast about it is looks. I'm definitally thinking of trading it off in about a 1 year and 6 months. The gas mileage alone SUCKS!!! VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!
