Any Suggestions? Chrome or no chrome?

Hello all Chrome or no chrome?

I have a '06 mustang and have been wondering what she would look like with chrome trim around the front and rear windows. Before you laugh go and look at all the old classic stangs, they just look GREAT with that chrome trim all over them. So has any brave soul that you know of ever tried a decent chrome trim job on any new mustangs? I'm talking 3/4"-1" trim. Any pics would help out.

Your 2 cents anyone?

I personally think that chrome trim looks a little tacky. But thats just my opinion. BUT, if you like it, go for it. Your driving the car.

NO!!..Looks cheap and crappy. Dont, it makes it seem like your trying to "pimp" your car.

Default I kind of thought the same...

I kind of thought the same but I'm not talking that 4" wide chrome tape stuff...that is bad. I just wondered if anyone has any pics of one that was done the way I described.
...and again thanks for the input.

i think it all depends on the color of the car. My 99 i had zero chrome because it was all red and black, my 97 is white with blue strips and looks really good with chrome. I think it would look good with chrome.

WIth the older model car the trim was away to draw in the contour lines of the car witch was what the designers where planning at the time cause Chrome was a big Item back then. The cars also drawed attention to its body style and paint colors . But with todays mustangs you wont get that same great look cause your car wasn't designed for over the top with chrome trim , But if you still want to do this before you go and spend alot of money . get your self a thing of alulinum foil with shiney side facing out cut it and just tape the ends on it then step back and take a pick or two and look at it does it really work yes or no . if no then your out about $15.00 / $4.00 foil / .99 tape/ 12pck of beer/$11.00 Me i say go a little Chrome on her .
