so im sitting in my stang fiddling with my tuner and all of a sudden i just hear a loud scraping "CHHHHH" sound and i turn and look out towards the sound and theres a jetski, just the jetski, flying down the highway at probably like 60mph. it sucks for the guy who dropped it, but it was a sight to behold.
if you look closely, theres a bus-stop bench about 10feet away from where it stopped, so yikes.....that could have been bad.
I did that once to a snowmobile. Forgot to put the pin in the trailer and it flipped sideways going 55mph. I jammed on the brakes and pointed out the passengers' side window to see one of our sleds sliding on its' side past the
Jeep. To this day we still laugh about it......

ouch! i hope the snowmobile wasnt a loss.
i've done something like that myself...my family had a pair of jetskis and we were taking one of them out of the water and i dont remember if it was a pin or a lever exactly, but it was supposed to keep the reel from spinning. anyways, i forgot, and it fell back into the water when we tried to pull it out. i got lucky i was like 14-15 when that happened...
this guy got really lucky.
it looks like he can just put it back on the trailer and clean out the intake, assuming the intake grate isnt completely mangled/ripped off.
he probably didnt even crack the hull.

One time a wheel from our boat trailer came off while we were going down the road. It rolled right past us. Luckily our trailer has 2 wheels on each side, so nothing really happened bad. It was still pretty funny and weird to see my wheel rolling past me.
*points* hey hunny look that guys got a jet ski just like us...wheres his trailer though? OH !!!!

it was 2 kids who couldnt have been more than 17-18 years old...
as soon as i watched the ski stop i started up the stang and drove over to snap a quick picture. man those kids gave me the EVIL EYE !!!
i still remember the look on thier faces....priceless.
lets just say i have a bottle of jetski repellent, that when sprayed in the eyes burns like hell.
now im all about haveing fun and shareing the lakes and rivers. skiers jet skiers pleausre boaters have the same rights i do.
but 95% are dumber than the water they boat in.

huge prking lot
jeff and his 10 biddies will get in the one lane entrance to the ramp
park
get the cooler out
get the straps off
fill the cooler
load up the jackets and food... all while ppl line up
and jeff is the only one with half an idea what to do.
so then he puts his boat in and then has to do all the work
then ties his boat up on the ramp instead of pulling it to the side or haveing someone idle it.
PROPER WAY is to pull int he parking lot, park, prepare, back out and get in line!
the local lake is 15 mintues from me
i have seen fist fights, and lines waiting 2 hours to get your boat in and i once waited 2.5 hours to get my boat out.
but a moajority of pleasure boaters are inconsiderate absolute ing morons!
