I would ask blue book unless you have done some mods.

I'd go by the blue book + the cost of mods you put into the stang.

my 2001 v6 private sale price is 4800 on kbb with 94,000 miles. if you mod the car it will go for more. better yet make the interior really sick looking with a few mods and sell it for the price you want to buy the gt for=].

i could have made my interior (which is tan and brown now) black and artic white for about 300 dollars. so its a small fee for alot of dough.

Check out what similar cars are going for in your area, too. 8k seems a bit steep to me, but maybe it's a good starting place. Your car is very tastefully done, btw. I like it. But I can understand finding that dream car.

ya i know 8k is a lot but i need $7000 at the least to be able to buy the gt so going any lower then 7k wont do me any good, id rather just keep my car. i never even though about selling my car untill i ran across this gt so its not like i need to sell my car or anything. so my options are either sell my car for 7k and get a gt or sell my car for less then 7k and be stuck with no car at all. ya no what i mean?
