Can any one tell me exactly were the engine code is on a late model 3.8 and how I can deceiver it.

Most Ford engines have the code cast onto the lower part of the block, near the oil pan rails, or in the lifter galley under the intake.

Post it up here and we can try to help you out with it.

Is their some specific info you need? Is that why you are trying to decipher it?
