Default will thunderbird supercharger fit

hi i wanted to know if a supercharger from a 1991 3.8 thunderbird would fit my 99 3.8 mustang

i have yet to find some one else who when changing their oil ( every 2000 miles or when they get bored ) details the under side of their car.

X-C April 2010,Heads, Cam,Internals April 2011, or blown engine, witch ever comes first.

I heard that you can but i would just go to www.supersixmotorsports.com and shop around there.

well the heads on the 91 are single port. The heads on your stang are split port. So you would be goin with an inefficient head design.
You would have to transfer the whole top half of the motor. I know of some people that have done it. However i would not! Its alot of work...

true...
just swapping to singleport heads drops you at least 40hp.
not to mention the tbird SC's only make 210hp/300tq.
that'll add some nice torque, but only add 20hp.
it's a waste of time, imho.

They can be modded to make fairly decent numbers as well as coming with a forged rotating assembly. But the supercharger and head design leave something to be desired. I would do it if you were a single-port, but split-port you can find something else to better spend your money on.
