Default Trans Help any1 ...

Ok so here's the deal !
Earlier in the year i removed my trans to have the gears repaired ... yes i broke them ... anyways before my father and I could get it put back in, some guys stole it, yes crazy i know .... anyways its still being traced half way across texas ...
It was a T5 Borg Warner that came from a 1994 3.8L V6 Mustang, I still have the bell housing and drive shaft, i need the transmission only.
Does anyone have any information on what vehicles this same transmission would come out of so that i may find a replacement?
I have done some research and know that many T5's are geared and sized different, of course it must be the same fit but having exact gear ratio's off by a couple hundrenths is no big deal.
Help Me !

Go to the local Ford Dealer and ask the parts guys what all years are the same, If you get on that knows how to do it that is, if not all bone/junk yards have the same info

A 99+ V6 tranny will work just fine because the input shafts are the same lengths or you need a T5 from a 94-95 GT.......
