A lot of people tell me that i can put a 8.8in 31 spline limited slip differential in to my V6 and it would work better than a 7.5 28 spline limited slip differential and then others tell me that a 8.8 will create "drag" on my car. Therefore i have no i idea which one would work better 4 my car and i dont want 2 waste my money if i get the wrong one, PLEASE HELP

What year is your car? What year is the rear end from? What are the gears in the 8.8? What type of power are you going to have in it all said and done?

I run an 8.8 in my '01 with 31 splines. My car needs it for the track.

unless ur going turbo or SC, and your running on a drag strip every weekendf or useign slicks...stay 7.5 they are quite strong.


now they dont beat a 8.8 and its good to have, but money can be better used somewhere else
