Default rear facing baby seat question

ok i already know that a baby seat does not fit very well in my 99 mustang unless the passenger seat is all of the way forward and leaning....

now my question is.... is it legal for me to delete the back seat with a delete kit and bolt the base to where the rear seat use to be. If you get what I am trying to say.

i have another car a 2008 mazda 3 hatch but would still like to be able to use my stang every now and then..

The baby seat is designed to be used in a factory seat with the factory seat belt.

The seat can only be used for the way it was intended. Any change or modification to how the baby seat is installed will compromise the safety of the seat and the child. My advice would be to take it to a fire station and have them see if they can help you get it in there better, if not, then use a different car.

When I was working at the Land Rover dealership, I had to be certified to install child seats.

wanted to check and see would have given me a good reason to delete my seat... didnt think would be legal even tho it would be better secured to the car than a seatbelt ever could do....

it would be better secured TO THE CAR absolutely. but there would be no give in case of impact. the child would be flung around in it like a ragdoll since he would be taking all the movement.
there are a wide variety of car seats available these days. you should be able to find something that fits better.
i just got my kids into the the high back booster chairs int eh back of my convertible. god love those boosters. doesnt take kids too long to grow out of babay seats either. before you know it you are upgrading and changing it to forward facing and then booster and on and on and on....
