Default BBK or K&N CAI. Which is better?

Which is better? Is the k&n worth the extra bucks? I have the K&N myself but i've never seen or heard a BBK in person. My buddy is trying to decide what to put in his is why i'm asking. Thanks!

I would probably stick with K&N just cuz of the name when it comes to intakes and air filters. One isnt more powerful than the other, you will have similar results either way.

If money isn't an issue, I would go with JLT, and there is a big difference from one to another. That's why JLT, is the best on the market today, Mike. SCT Tuner.

Any more than that one is a complete and total waste of money. You get nothing more by spending more than twice as much.

If they don't mind the installation they could also go cheaper with the windstar swap. I personally would go with K&N as I got a good recommendation from my mechanic buddy, but like others said BBK/K&N really just the name. The bbk installs on the inside of the right fender whereas ours lies where the old intake was.
