Default mustang tailpipe flamethrowers

hey guys.. do you know how sometimes in oldschool hot rods you would see them shoot flames out of their tailpipes by igniting the unburnt fuel in their exhaust? if someone had no cats could they still do that? or are modern engines too efficient and theres not enough fuel in the exhaust? say someone in a 07 GT wanted to do that could they?

Like Mark said, they have kits, but they're not street legal. They're pretty cool for shows and stuff. I've heard stories of people melting their plastic rear bumpers, though. Something to think about..

just tune your gas to air ratio to heavy lean and you should pop and burn when you idle rev i dont think the cat effect it much they filter smogg not after burn, WARNING it is VERY dangerous tho iv seen a car go up in flames from it is cool but you rlly gata be careful
