Default Fixing up a 2003 Mustang 3.8L Sixxer

Hey guys, i am a longtime member of this forum- Love it to death.
I drive a 2006 Mustang GT, however my older sister owns a 2003 Sixxer in Mineral Grey. She realized she is keeping the car a nother 4-5 years and well she gave me money to hook it up. Now she is not going for performance or anything, she gets enough tickets as it is..

So far, i ordered:
OEM replacement headlights
Picking up 4300K HID headlights this weekend for her
I want to get her GT foglights, where can i buy the setup as a whole- including harneses, brackets and lights w/o the bulbs? I will be putting single beam HIDs in them.

She wants rims, would you guys suggest Anthracite bullitts? What sizes?
I want to put a Mach1 Grill Delete on there for her, and a Mach1 Chin spoiler too..

She has a Mach sound system in it as the factory upgrade.. Her 6cd changed broke for the 2nd time i believe and will not open. She wants to do a DVD touchscreen/navi like i did in my 06. Any suggestions and will it be the same concept as my 06 where it will work with the factory upgraded subs??

Any ideas for me guys, she wants it to look cool. Her stock wheels are ugly as hell.. Check out the pics i just snapped in the driveway.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

AM has the foglights in both clear and smoked lenses. I believe they come without the bulbs.

Bullitts would look good. I'd probably stick with 17's- 18's if you're feeling daring. I also like the FR500 and GT-4 rims.

The chin spoiler will look good. Does she have a hood scoop? If not, AM has those, too. I think they make the New Edge's look much more aggressive.

Black rear bumper inserts would look good if she doesn't already have them. There's a lot of options and different approaches to styling her car. It's easy to spend other people's money.

I am looking for a stock GT hoodscoop for that year, she saw a pic of the exact stuff she wants but its a GT and has the hoodscoop..

As for rear mustang letters, good idea- i forgot they were even there.

Mhmm. They're cheap and make a huge difference.
I looked back at the pictures after I posted that. She has the Cobra hood which has the scoop facing the opposite direction.

Also, a shorter attenna is a must.

Yeah, i may just do some form of hood stripe for her.. That would be cheap and effective.

Complete list of what will be done

OEM Headlights
OEM GT Foglights
4300K Dual Beam HID/Single beam HID(Fogs)
Chrome "Mustang" letters
Mach1 Chin spoiler
Mach1 Grill Delete
Kenwood Indash touchscreen
17x9 Anthracite Bullitts
Hood Stripe
3rd Brakelight Blackout "Mustang"

That may keep her happy and into the mustang. It is completely stock, just loaded from the factory(Premium).

If anybody knows where i can buy the factory GT fogs with brackets, AND wire harnesses give me a shout! Please.

First of all, that's a damn fine color on that car! Ok im a little biased.

I bought my fog light kit from Stangmods.com. It came with everything needed to do the install. It comes with bulbs, but like you said, you were going to change those out.

The anthracite bullits may look weird because the anthracite is close to the mineral grey color but not exact. It would be like having 2 shades of red on the same car ya know? With my mach 1's, i found that polished wheels or black wheels would probably look the best.

Also, the mach 1 chin spoiler looks awesome with the mineral grey. With my car, i kind of have a Mineral grey/black theme goin on and i think it looks pretty sharp (im biased here again).

Good luck with fixin it up, i'm sure it will look great when its finished.

+1 on the bullits
Either go with the black spokes or all polished. I have the same V6 hood and am leaving it alone. With the Mach 1 additions, you could paint the rear spoiler and the center "scoop" section of the hood in Mach 1 black. If you do this then I would go with black bullits or Magnums for wheels.

The kit from stangmods came with a wiring kit that allows you to hook them into the cars lighting system. The lights work just like they would on a GT.

I have it done. My car is silver, but I have pictures in my profile. I painted the hood stripe and spoiler flat black. It looks much better and really sticks out.
