Default Anyone heard of a Large turbo with a small one

A couple of days ago me and a co-worker we bored and started talking about what we want to do with our cars, he's got a GTO 5.7 and was talking about putting a small turbo and a large turbo together that way he can use the small turbo for the low rpms and the big turbo for the higher rpms. This is the first time I ever heard of someone doing something like this has anyone heard of this before or is this just a crazy idea.

how much do you think that would cost to do that to a V6?

For the trouble, you might as well just do parallel twins.

Exactly. The set up is different than a set up for a regular TT set up. Although it would be interesting to see on a V6 you can make power in easier and cheaper ways.
