Im new here and am looking for ideas on which setup is best for my 98 3.8L. I just came home from another deployment and would really like to start doing some work to this car. I bought it in 06 and havnt had much time with it till now. Im looking at doing a STS Turbo but am fairly new to working on something so small. Im a heavy equipment mech. for the navy so I know a little about turbos but its all diesel......could someone give me some advice and steer me in the right direction

Well ya came to the right place!

Questions we ask most newbies (to the site anyway):
1) What are you goals? power, style, engine set-up (you mentioned a turbo...), etc
2) How much bankroll do you have for this project?
3) Is this for street? Pure drag car? Weekend warrior? Hot lap track car?

With these basic answers, we can better direct you to either give you some good advice or direct you to some good information. And as far as turbos go: look for Shine1stang and shinerstang. They are a father/son and both have turboed V6's. Dad runs 10sec 1/4-miles and the son is in the 11s, so they know their stuff! (Dad also has a nitrous set-up...)
