FRPP doesn't make an X-pipe for the V6... so either someone did some custom work to attach to it or they made a custom X-pipe.

Also, axlebacks are for S197 (2005+) Mustangs... SN95 (1994-2004) Stangs have a muffler in the middle of the car. So, I'm not sure what you're asking for...

What year is your car? And what year (or body style) is the car in the video? And are you sure the car in the vid is a V6 and not a V8?

what year is your car?

the 94-04 and 05+ exhaust setups are completely different.

This site leads to the FRPP V6 X-pipe exhaust kit - from there, you can search where to buy it: Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-5230-V6*] Also available at AmericanMuscle.com...

I don't know about the axlebacks...

I've heard good things about the Pypes mid-muffler system for your S197s (got a great review in Modified Mustangs Magazine) - should be able to get them from Jegs.com: part number for them is SFM69.

i put a Pypes system on my brothers '08 v6. it was the one with the x-pipe built in and all that for like $400 or something from americanmuscle. it sounds....ok. we had a lot of trouble getting rid of the rattles and fitting it into the stock v6 bumper. it did sound similar to the one in that video tho. i think the 3.8 sounds better

To me, the Pypes prostreet mufflers on the 4.0 v6 sound terrible. The drone when going up a hill at 2000rpms is enough to drive you insane. And after it gets high in the rpms, it gets quiet, almost stock like in sound. My dad and i put the Pypes x pipe dual kit on my moms car and within a week we switched out the mufflers to stock GT mufflers. In my opinion, the GT mufflers on the v6 sound really good. Not loud, but good.
