I think that there is some confusion in the understanding of a true saleen, So I just thought I would toss in my 2cents, there is more then a body kit and charger to a true saleen, saleen offers charged and N/A mustangs, There is quite a few things that are done with the saleen, the suspension is changed from stock, along with many ohter things depending on what model you get. Also, If anybody is looking I have saleen parts for sale or trade, 1 supercharger etc.. Also I have 2 saleens and I am going to let one go, so if you have an interest I have a 2000 S281, and a 2001 SC-281 which has a newer saleen charger on it, and its lucky number 777, so its kinda rare. I will be posting in classifieds soon for anyone lookin for a priced to sell Saleen
Real Saleens are definitely more than a body kit, and true, they come in two flavors - GT-type and Supercharged (SC).
Its possible to buy a saleen body kit that matches your year model, and then add the various badges and decals after you get it painted, but unless you are an expert body man and painter it will cost a good bit (Saleens usually swap out the hood, front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, side skirts, and side scoops. They also have their own custom exhaust systems (with body panels designed to work with them).
Their interiors feature their own gauges, gauge faces, shifter, pedal covers, seats, floor mats, and so forth, most of which is available if you look for it.

the body parts is koo cuz i plan on taking classes for bodyshop so that part is koo
with me and i know they are really expensive parts like about 1000 for the whole kit then about 500 to install the kit but idk care(i like trial n error)
$1K for the kit and $500 for the install? Those are extremely unrealistic prices, especially the install. To get a body kit installed so that it looks good will cost a helluva lot more than that, plus I have a hard time seeing you find the body kit for that price.
When you are said and done with the changes you will spend more than it would cost to just buy a real one.

hmmm
really 40,000-60,000$ worth of work on this car before it be a saleen clone seems kind of steep for making an not buying
