sorry I really dont know too much about whats inside the cars but im willing to learn! What are cats?

True, very true, but still, if it feels slower it's not as fun to drive. Also, you're only going to be able to get close to what that guy's sounds like as every car responds a little differently. So it may be slightly louder or slightly quieter, but it will be close.

catalytic converters.. they help finish the chemical reactions that go on in ur engine as it tries to leave thru your exhaust so that the end products are less polluting to the environment basically

Catalytic converters. They're a dumb restriction the tree hugers have pushed on us to lower emissions. They end up adding restriction, causing a loss in power and sound. However, it does help some sixers avoid the raspy sound, so it's not always a good idea to take them off. It can also be a hassle if you have to go in for inspection (thank goodness I live in Kentucky, where we don't care about the trees).
