Default 2001 V-6 Clutch Replacement. Need help. and advice

I am replacing my clutch on my 2001 V-6 Mustang. I have a CAI and I will be replacing my entire exhaust (Headers, mid pipe, cat back) and adding a SCT Mustang 4-bank Eliminator Chip in the near future. So my question is should I go with the spec stage 1 clutch rated to 285 ft-lbs of torque or should I get a stage 2 rated to 370 ft-lbs of torque?

stage 1 should be plenty until you get a blower

The Stage 1 clutches are not better than stock, made of the same material, and cost more.....

To the OP, why a 4 bank chip and not a tuner? If you are going to do future mods, then a tuner is better and will cost less in the long run.....

Yeah just find an SCT XCal 2 or 3, if you can find one used that is unlocked thats even better. I would recommend either a stage 2 or stage 2+ if you have the money. I would also recommend a Spec aluminum flywheel while you're in there, once again if you have the money. Believe me I wish I had the cash for a stage 2 clutch and flywheel after I blew my OEM clutch up. Its definitely an upgrade thats worth the extra coin.
