Just purchased a 2004 40th Anniversary Edition Mustang today, well my parents purchased it. I am a new driver and I am looking to make my ride look a little bit better. The car is absolutely spotless - not a single dent, paint chip, etc. Even the interior is immaculate. But anyways, as you can see from the picture below, its a white Mustang. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1.../04Mustang.jpg
I am on the fence about any type of stripes on the car at this point. I am considering a black rocker stripe and two small stripes along where the hood slants up (Hard to explain the exact placement). For sure, I am going to fill in the "MUSTANG" on the back bumper with black lettering. Tinting the windows is also going to happen at some point. I am hoping to add black accents all over the car, and outside of what I have already came up with is their anything that I can do?
One last question, the car has 16 inch tires. In my searches for wheels, it has been hard as hell to find 16 inch wheels. Is their a site out there that has a selection of 16 inch wheels? Any help is greatly appreciated.
i would put a Mach 1 chin lip on there, put on black stripes on the sides of the hood bulge, and Cobra chrome 17 inch wheels.
why do you want to stick with 16 inch wheels? 17's look much better and still ride good.
Thanks for the suggestions! I think the black stripes on the sides of the hood bulge are the ones I am also speaking of, you just used a far better description.
And the Nexan N5000 tires that are on the car right now are brand new, so no need to change them. Plus, I am a teenager and this is my first car - So I don't exactly have money to change all the tires and change the wheels too.

17's are also the best size for autocross
Anyways, yeah man that all sounds good. Go with the mach 1 chin spoiler and grill delete. and lowering springs

I have a silver 04', and I too went for the black accents. Stock, the car already has some nice accents(side mirrors, skid guard, etc..) But what i did was get the mach 1 chin spoiler, Black bullet rims, and filled in the "mustang" in the rear.
Stripes? Ehh....I never was very much into stripes outside of a select few stangs, but if i were to get them, they would probably be pretty standard racing stripes.

Personally, I think some Xenon Upper Scoops over your rear quarter windows would look great while giving your stang that awesome fastback appearence. Paired with a Mach1 chin spoiler & grille delete kit, you'll have a highly personalized mustang that REALLY stands out! Here is a pic to give you a good idea of what to expect (click pic below to enlarge).
Thanks for the suggestions and welcomes! They are much appreciated. As of now, I pretty much have a vision of what I want in my head.
Tint the windows
Black rocker stripe
Black wheels
Grille delete
Black LED Taillights
Black projector headlights
Black foglights
Black LED third break light
Fill in "MUSTANG" on the back bumper with black lettering
Black stipes on the sides of the hood bulge
Black rear wing
I think that gives a pretty good balance between black and white and isnt too overpowering on the black. As some have suggested, I might add a chin spoiler - but arnt they prone to scraping?

And to the OP, i wouldn't go with the projectors (this is coming from experience) They are very cheaply made and they look horrible during the day time, way to import looking. Your best best is to go with OE smoked lights. Just my 2 cents
