Default To 4.10 or not to 4.10

After a bit of good news (I got transferred to a new university that is closer and cheaper) I've decided my next purchase after my SCT tuner, which should be on order in a week, will be gears and a T-Lok. I've always heard 3.73 is the best for a 5-speed. I was thinking, if I am going 3.73, why not go for 4.10s? Since, I'm going to this univ in town 90% of my driving will be in town. I will rarely take extended trips on the highway of more than 15-20 miles.
How bad is highway mileage going to be at say 65 with 4.10s? Currently I get 25-30 with my stock gears. I can live with losing 3-4 mpg if I can get a lot more kick in my car.
So, is it worth getting 4.10s in a 5-speed or will they just be too short?
Thanks!

I personaly dont have stick, but most of my other friends do and they say they love it! We were actually talking about it the other day cause im gonna get a posi and 4.10s as well. They were saying that everyone told them not to get 4.10's.... that it would be to short! lol but that the performance gain is outstanding and that they dont regret their choice, and wouldnt have it any other way! So that made me make up my mind.... if they have stick and they say its something they did not regret, then im gonna get them too since my car is auto! Anyway FYI, they all have a naturally aspirated motor except for 1 Mach1... he says he admits 1st is prety shortt on his car, but as far as everyone else goes... the gt's and v6 guys all love them! sorry about the rambbling... lol

What i have been told is, 3.73 is perfect for a five speed, and 4.10 are better for an automatic, I dont really know why, but when i had my V6 auto, everyone told me to get 4.10 and i would be happy, so thats what i did. I never installed them, But i bought um . Search a few threads and see what you can come up with.
