in order to have a better tips for upgrading...

will be nice, to tell what kind of Turbo setup you have, and the total budget

so the masters can guide you in the right way

Then you need to list your exact budget to get realistic answers. By what you posted here, I'd say you may as well forget a turbo since there is no such thing as a cheap install. YOu are looking at $2K+ if you are doing all the work and can self-fabricate alot of the parts. If you have to buy everything and are having the work done for you it cannot be done for under $3500 safely and reliably.

Cai, tuner, gears, t lock, ehuast, longtube headers no cats of course lol, underdrive pulley, Throttle body i hear doesnt do anything beside give u better throttle control (i just really like mine bc it made my pedal stiff rather then that super light weight feel). then i hear intake spaders give some hp too not to sure about that tho. changing ur flywheel for a alum one. put ur battery in ur trunk for better traction and weight off the front of the car.
u'll prolly end up spending around 2k if u do the work urself u'll save alot more. if u let someone else do all the work u'll end up spending 2.5k -3k max. U'll be very happy with the outcome aswell.
no real way to get cheap power tho, i learned from experience if ur gonna built a car up get the good s*** lol. So if u really want a turbo ur looking at 3k+ not to mention everything else u'll have to do to the car so it can take the pounding and heat. In reality we arent talking about big money tho... i mean i dont know how big ur pockets are but 3k is alot for me atm... its y i try and get things over time n plan ahead lol. Best advise i can give is just mod it if u want it to be quick bc the v6 stock is so god damn slow its not even funny even more with the ac . a few lil mods here and there will wake it up big time.

Best advice I can give is that if the V6 is too slow save up and buy a V8 or be prepared to spend the big bucks. I personally did not buy my car with any expectations of it being fast and if you ask me it has quite a bit of power for such a big car with a V6. The biggest mistake to make when buying a V6 Mustang is getting the automatic version since the 5 speed version is far better in terms of feeling faster.

no offense but dont listen to b1 if u want to make ur car quick then do it. he might not want to but i know having a car for 5 6 years and not enjoying the driving sucks lol. plus i always enjoy working on the car i've only wasted 2k on the car and the pony pulls like no other. love the feeling all it needs now is a different exhaust note and its perfect... i never could afford a v8 mustang back then but now that i could i went on and went with another v8 lol. but the 6 in the least isnt underpowered with a few mods that are rather cheap if u ask me
Plus working on cars is my hobby its y im on this website... even if its a 6 u dont think its a nice lil car that can run low 14s high 13s? with 2-3k invested. (high 13s being with good traction n full bolts) meh might just be my pride talking now since i worked hard as hell on my 6 trying to get it the way i want it too. Next project trans am 01.... 6 years from now they'll be calling it slow too "get a v10"

grabbing a can tuner and a cai (cai usually really cheap am has one for like 70bucks) the tuner is whats a lil bit more expensive but i would save to get that first just bc any other mod u do to the car is gonna require a tune... long tubes... cutting cats off need a tune... gears where u prolly want to go with as soon as u could sinces its the biggest upgrade u'll be able to feel. tuning it so u can adjust ur speedo meter... cai also needs a tune since i hear it can rob power without a tune.... see where im going with it lol. plus u'll save money on gas with a tune depending on how heavy ur foot really is tho. anyways back to the order of things me personally if i could do it all over again i would get a cai and tune together first then save a bit for my dual exhaust (gotta put alot of thought into dont know if u want long tubes or just have to change ur headers bc they are cracked). after that traction lock and gears.UDP , alum flywheel suspension work tb (again tb doesnt do much so i hear but i just like the feel of it ) etc etc. can come after those lil upgrades... u'll be happy driving ur car everyday. not sure in what type of shape ur cars in tho... if its a car ur planning to keep for 5+ years do it but if ur really not i dont think u should. thats about it

Full bolt ons gonna get you 13's? Not gonna happen. Maybe mid/low 14's tops after a professional dyno tune.

Nitrous will get you 13's for under $1K.

I never said not to make it fast buddy, you need to actually read what I wrote. This guys was asking about doing a turbo cheap. No way to do that. I have had the V8 and now I have a V6. I love my car and to me it does not feel slow, possibly my car still has all the factory power it came with since it only has 45K on the odomoeter. Any way you look at it, you need $2K+ to even stay near a GT in a race unless you use Nitrous. Forced induction cannot be done properly for under $3K.

I just prefer to live in reality land where I can admit I don't have the $3K needed to do this stuff. Nothing wrong with dreams, but reality is a ***** and she wants lots of cash.
