Wink Hi I'm very new and would like some help figuring out why mustang is knocking

I have already searched all over this forum but decided to join because I can't find anything that relates exactly to the problem I'm having. I drive an 03 3.8 V6 and it has a terrible knock. The best way I can describe it is a loud cracking or popping sound coming from somewhere from the front end drivers side. It only does it one time whenever it occurs, it is NOT continuous knocking. It happens when i start up my car, hit a bump in the road, or right after I accelerate and shift. The knock is so loud and hard that I can feel it through the floor. If anyone has any idea what the problem could be please let me know!!!!

Motor mount?

Under torque the engine lifts on one side then bangs back down. I have had a couple cars with bad mounts and your symptoms seem similar.

At least how you describe them.
