Flowmaster 40s sound about as good as you can get on a stock motor with no internal work done, you add a cam and the world changes.

X pipe is going to sound more raspy than deep/growl.
Unfortunately Long tubes are NOT smog-legal here in the Golden State (even with a catted mid-pipe).

Thumbs up Mac Boomtubes

You guys should look into the MAC Boomtube. They are amazing, the videos you see online are Nothing compared to what they sound like in person.I was going to buy the flowmaster 40's but i heard they drone too much and at high RPMs since its a v6, the sound gets raspy , so i didnt want that. I looked more into Straight through mufflers and i came across the Boomtube. In the low RPM'S 1K-3k, this thing growls , way louder than a GT, If you have ever heard of the Mercedez C63 AMG with its resonators out, it sounds just like that! and thats a 6.3 L V12 But it gets even better, most other mufflers would get raspy on the high Rpms with the V6, instead the boomtube between 3K-6K RPMs sounds like a Corvette! but better. They are loud and its that perfect loud you wouldnt want more. Car alarms do go off, People are always looking and it sounds awesome, Would reccomend. The only problem i had though is that when i installed it myself i had a exhaust leak so , thanks to Ninosports Great Customer Service, they are going to cover for the fee that my local muffler shop is charging me for welding. Theyre one of the few people around that carry this product.Buy from them.

True, they sound effin' fantastic on a GT but I had no luck finding vids with a MAC Boom tube set-up on a V6. It's too bad too, they wouldn't work on my stang anyway as they are round straight through mufflers. With my Roush side-exhaust set-up, I need an oval muffler with a 2.5" inlet/outlet on the same side. Not every company makes these...

What model thrush mufflers are those? I love the sound. The flowmasters are great but the Thrush really sounded mean.
